LONG STORY, SHORT

This did not start as a business. It started when I hit a wall with nothing left to fall back on and had to figure out how to stay operating when the normal path stopped workingI came up through storytelling. I believed in the work. I also learned fast that talent does not get funded and good ideas do not move just because they matter to you. Capital does not respond to belief. Capital responds to clarity, discipline, and execution under pressure. You need clarity when everything is breaking. You need discipline when you are running on fumes. You need people who understand what it actually takes to get something over the line. I have lived that. I have had to keep something alive with no backup plan.

That is why I built something that does not pretend, does not pad, and does not flinch when things get real.

My Expertise

I work in capital and development with a base in physical production.

Today my work sits in two places at once. On the production side, I understand what it takes to get through prep, shoot, and delivery with fixed time and money.

On the finance side, I read budgets, financial models, waterfalls, use of funds, and incentive layouts with the same discipline investors apply.

My expertise is reading a project in both ways at once. As something that has to survive real production conditions, and as a proposed use of capital that has to make sense under review from private investors, funds, and operating companies.

Background // Experience

I entered the industry as crew, not as a financier.

From 2013 to 2023 I worked in film and television production in roles from PA and secretary through coordinator and supervisor to associate producer and producer. I was responsible at different points for days made, vendor payments, cost reports, and delivery against fixed budgets on studio and network backed shows, streamer work, and one feature I produced.

Those years gave me a close view of how decisions made in development and prep show up later in call sheets, overtime, cost reports, and delivery pressure. I saw projects that held and projects that strained budgets, schedules, and relationships.

Larger productions could absorb some of that. Smaller ones often could not.

In 2023 I moved formally onto the finance side. I began working with private capital on film and IP driven ventures and started applying the discipline I had learned in production to models, incentives, and risk.

That is where the work that became Rapp // Consulting began.

AN IDEA WAS BORN

The RAPP // PERSPECTIVE is a field tested operating lens, built in the trenches. The RAPP // PERSPECTIVE is my idea.

The idea is that I sit in the middle on purpose. I saw very quickly that the people making the work and the people with the money were not speaking the same language. The creative side thought belief and potential were enough. The capital side made decisions based on risk, control, and exit. Everyone pretended they understood each other. They did not.

Instead of picking a side, I built my own lane. I look at something and ask one question. Would a serious investor take this seriously? If the answer is no, I say why. If the answer is yes, I say why.

That is it. That is the model. It is not a pitch. It is how I work now. This is execution under pressure, with accountability built in.

BODY // OF // WORK

My work spans major features and episodic television.

This is real work backed by on-set experience, union credentials, and credits.

Verified through my IMDb and industry history, this body of work reflects a deep understanding of production logistics, and the kind of leadership that only comes from being inside the chaos.
